Jesus Ballote launched Chuyz Fresh Fitz as a t-shirt business and is now expanding the business to include pants.
The Viewers Choice Award is a virtual online business plan competition that allows the public to choose the top business plan from the Bay Area. Winner of the Viewers' Choice Award receives prizes that can be used to invest in their business.
2009 NFTE Bay Area finalists represent Ida B. Wells High School (San Francisco), Life Learning Academy (San Francisco), and San Leandro High School (San Leandro). These teen entrepreneurs made the cut out of more than 1,000 students in the region in order to participate in the Merrill Lynch/NFTE Bay Area Regional Business Plan Competition.
